About This Program
Journalism Technology is a new program we are offering at St. Thomas Aquinas for the 2008/2009 school year. It will combine two credits: Writers Craft and Communications Technology. Students will learn to create meaningful content and media for print and the web. Through the creation of podcasts, blogs, video, and print media, students will gain experience with both content creation and media presentation. Students will also contribute to the writing, editing, and production of the Raider's Digest newspaper, as well at the AquiCast podcast. This program is a two credit (2 period) program open to Grade 11 and 12 students. Students in the program must take the two courses as a package together.
