Our first Civvies Day for semester II will be held on Thursday, February 22. Participating in Civvies Days is optional, however, if not participating, full uniform is required.
After consultation with students, parents, school and board staff, St. Thomas Aquinas will continue its School Cash Online civvies procedures for the 2017/2018 school year. There will now be one $10 dollar flat fee per semester.
Monies collected from civvies days are used to support a variety of charities in our school and community as suggested by our student council. Donations in the past have been made to United Way, Halton Food for Thought, Special Olymics and STA Cares (supporting families directly in our school community).
The Preferred payment is via School Cash Online system found at the following link https://hcdsb.schoolcashonline.com/). Online payment will remain open until Tuesday, February 20th at 9 a.m. School Cash Online is a service that allows parents to purchase items and pay for optional student activity fees (e.g. hot lunch and milk programs, field trips, etc.), at their own convenience and now allows a credit card payment option. The School Cash Online initiative saves time, reduces paper within our schools, and provides a secure payment option for parents.
We encourage all families to support our fundraising initiative and to utilize the School Cash Online service.
If there are any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to contact the school.
